Over many months, members of PLAY have participated in strategic planning sessions and on-line surveys to identify goals and strategies to shape our work over the next three years. This planning has evolved based on the local research of our region and the direction of our provincial government.
Strategy 1:
Create bridging strategy to enhance coordination of cross
sector services at normative transitional points, ie: leaving hospital,
entering school.
Strategy 2:
Develop a media campaign with key messages to support strong
parent/child relationships which create culture of strength-based messages.
To further the strategies identified, PLAY coordinates committees interested in implementing the strategies through specific action. Resources, and coordination are brought together to support our community members in their efforts.
If you are interested in any of these committees please contact the representatives below to find out more about meeting dates and the work they are doing.
